SQ CLUB
Knowledge is Power, Knowledge is Information, Knowledge is Education. Science and Quest Club in its short form is SQ Club. It was started, in the year 2017. It’s the merge of Science club which was started in the year 2008. It was started with a purpose of bringing out the lost curiosity among the students. Students lose curiosity and inquisitive power as they grow older. This SQ Club aims at instilling the power of inquisitiveness and scientific temper among the students. To be knowledgeable is a mark of a leader and as true Xavierite. Students are encouraged to strive for the MAGIS in every field. The newly formed SQ Club believes in this and tries to encourage and motivates students in their quest for knowledge, enables them to ask questions and to empower them to become confident quiz masters. It also creates interest and curiosity to collect information related to different fields which includes current affairs of National and International importance. It paves way for the students to explore their creative ideas. It aims to implement and realize their creative ideas in an organized manner when they work as a team. It also provides them a platform to share their ideas with others. The club also undertakes activities such as Science Excursion, Science Exhibition, Quiz Competition, etc., to realize its aims and objectives. This would boost the students’ confidence and knowledge to become ‘better to the Best’ or ‘Quiz Wizards’.
