PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

At the very outset, I would like to send you warm greetings from the St.Xavier’s School, Bhiwadi. We are going through an unprecedented global predicament today. Each one of us and the entire world is affected by the coronavirus pandemic; our economy, our families, communities and our entire way of life are adversely affected by the scare of infection and contagion. I would like to share your anxiety and preoccupations and express my solidarity with you and your family.

However, despite everything we decided not to let this virus defeat our quest for excellence and Magis. I believed in the thought -Home is the first school and school is the second home.   Today, that has become true. The teachers and parents continuously cater our academic needs by adapting to new virtual learning methods. The aim of St. Xavier’s Bhiwadi has always been to develop in students the quality of ceaselessly seeking excellence and holistic development.  The situation also helped us to be best selves in tune with the vision and mission of St.Xavier’s, Bhiwadi.

The scenario we are in, is so crucial and significant that from the least to the most and from the mightiest to the smallest views and ideas does matter.  I would like to appreciate and acknowledge our talented and ever willing to work staff, both teaching and non-teaching, who have been showing their care and concern for the students and school, working from home preparing notes and engaging classes online for the benefit of students. I appreciate their concern for the students and commitment to academics. They have been lending their hand by going beyond to meet the deadlines, learning new technology, growing and making students’ lives better.

As the Principal of the school, may I take hold of this opportunity to exhort you all to stay positive and keep disappointments at bay. ‘Every cloud has a silver lining’. The cloud of this pandemic too would nonetheless torrent away and the ‘silver lining’ would gleam for sure.

May God Almighty keep us all safe and healthy.

With prayers and regards

Fr. Sobin K Thomas SJ
